Deuteronomy 32:26-28

²⁶ I would have said, “^(A)I will wipe them out,
^(B)I will remove the mention of ^[a]their name from humanity,”
²⁷ Had I not feared the provocation by the enemy,
That their adversaries would misjudge,
That they would say, “^(C)Our hand is ^[b]triumphant,
And the Lord has not performed all this.”’

²⁸ “^(D)For they are a nation ^[c]destitute of counsel,
And there is no understanding in them.
